Kennedy Woods Architecture Recently completed an interior renovation of the ground floor of the Warehouse Building in Smithfield for Javelin Group. The project comprised the strip out of the existing interior finishes, furnishings and lighting and the installation of new flooring and lighting in the double height reception area, corridor spaces, boardroom and meeting rooms.
The existing carpet finish to the reception, corridors and meeting rooms was removed and replaced with new ceramic tile and interface carpet finishes.
New Prolicht linear and spot pendant light fittings were installed in the double height reception space, corridors and meeting rooms.
The existing exposed concrete floor to the atrium space was ground and resealed and Kennedy Woods designed and fabricated a new 4m X 1m folded steel and solid (pippy) oak table and bench seats to act as a new focal point for the renovated double height atrium space. The existing soft furnishings were reupholstered in a Malone fabric and the exposed steelwork supporting the atrium roof and steel staircase were repainted to macth the table and furnishings.
Since the completion of the fit-out works earlier this year we have designed and fabricated new solid (pippy) oak cladding for the existing glass clad reception desk, further photos coming soon.
