Planning application lodged on schedule before the end of the year for a private client for a 22 room aparthotel development in Dublin city centre. The scheme proposes the development of the rear yard to an existing 4 storey building currently containing a retail unit at ground floor level, a gated access lane and 3no. apartments over. The proposal maintains the existing retail and apartment uses to the front block along with the addition of a new apartment at fourth floor level.The existing access lane will become a new entrance foyer and reception to be shared among the existing residential tenants and the new aparthotel guests. to the rear of the site the scheme proposes a 6 storey aparthotel over an existing extended basement.

Contract due to be signed in the coming days for the amalgamation of two existing changing rooms and a store room at Cabra Parkside Community Sports Centre and the interior fit-out of the newly formed space to create a new spinning studio.
